Depart the airport for the Atomium, a striking futuristic structure shaped like an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times. Then marvel at the opulent Grand Place, home to the Town Hall, the King’s House, and historic guildhalls. Conclude with a visit to the famous Manneken Pis, the small bronze statue of a boy that has charmed both locals and visitors alike.

DAY 3 BRUSSELS – GHENT – BRUGES

DAY 5 ROTTERDAM: Keukenhof (or Kinderdijk) &amp; Delft

Visit Keukenhof Spring Gardens (27 Mar – 11 May, 2025) to admire millions of tulips and other blooms across 32 hectares. When the gardens close, explore Kinderdijk (May–Oct), a UNESCO site with 19 traditional windmills, and step inside one to see how they work.

Continue to Delft, famous for Delft Blue ceramics and painter Johannes Vermeer. See the vaulted ceiling of Delft Railway Station, the 4,000-tile entrance of Huis van Delft, and stroll past the Nieuwe Kerk, the Blue Heart artwork, Bonte Ossteeg mural, and the leaning tower of the Oude Kerk, known as “Crooked John.”

DAY 6 ROTTERDAM – AMSTERDAM

DAY 7 AMSTERDAM: ZAANSE SCHANS & VOLENDAM

Continue to Volendam, a picturesque fishing village on the shores of the IJsselmeer. DAY 8 AMSTERDAM: GIETHOORN & BEENSTER POLDER

Begin the day with a scenic drive through Holland’s eastern countryside to Giethoorn, a peaceful village famed for its waterways and car-free lifestyle. Admire centuries-old thatched houses and enjoy a tranquil canal cruise to appreciate its timeless charm.

Continue to the Beemster Polder, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a remarkable example of Dutch land-reclamation engineering. Enjoy views of its canals, windmills, and lush fields before visiting De Rijp, one of the Netherlands’ most beautiful villages. Explore its picturesque town hall, Kleine Dam, the graceful Lievelandsbrug, and wander along Tuingracht, considered the village’s loveliest street.
