The Great Ocean Road in Southern Victoria is one of Australia’s most impressive coastal destinations and is widely regarded as one of the world’s most scenic drives. Today’s journey follows this spectacular coastline, with a photo stop at the Memorial Arch at Eastern View, a historic wooden landmark marking the route. Continue to Cape Otway Lightstation, where you can enjoy sweeping coastal views and visit Australia’s oldest surviving lighthouse, the “Beacon of Hope,” built in 1848.

Next, visit the iconic Twelve Apostles in Port Campbell National Park, the dramatic limestone stacks rising from the Southern Ocean—once numbering eight and now reduced to seven. Just a short distance away lies Loch Ard Gorge, another must-see stop featuring striking cliffs and a beautiful coastal setting.
